Let DMC connect to your computer:
(Only do this when requested to by a DMC representative) TeamViewer PC TeamViewer MAC Windows Users:
If using Internet Explorer, it's OK to click "run this program from it's current location". If using another browser, save the file to your desktop.
Once the file has been saved, double click to open it. Mac Users:
Save this file to your desktop - if it doesn't automatically mount as a disk, double-click it to make it do so.
Open the disk, and double click on the Team Viewer icon. Both Users:
Give the DMC representative your ID and password, if needed.
DMC will now be able to control your computer - you can see everything that is done,
and you can share the mouse and keyboard as well.
When DMC is done, they will close the connection - your computer will have been unchanged.
If you want to manually close the connection, simply terminate the program.
If for some reason the remote control program is still running on your computer, please close it for maximum security. |

Here's a collection of really great software, most of it open source (which means others are free to examine and modify it's code). I use these myself! Open Office
This is an open source (read:free) replacement for Microsoft Office - it is corporate and donation supported, much as Firefox is. I use it personally, and I find it as least as easy to use as Microsoft Office, and it is compatible with it - you can read and write Word, Excel and Powerpoint type files with this office suite. I even have a few clients using it to free themselves of the cost and restrictive licensing of Microsoft. Most homes and even businesses are not in compliance with Microsoft licensing terms, because they install the program on multiple machines - this leaves especially businesses open to potential lawsuits and fines. I highly recommend this suite as a replacement to avoid these issues.

Got a lot of pop-ups on your computer lately? Even when you're not surfing the web? Congratulations! You've got spyware! So what can you do about it? Well, you could call me. Or you can try your hand at these programs to remove them - I use them myself, sometimes both, getting rid of this junk. Unfortunately, on bad infections, it sometimes takes someone like me to get rid of them entirely.
